Here are some highlights of the past week, in picture form…
Last Saturday, it snowed in Nagoya:

On Sunday morning I may or may not have been involved in a snow ball fight on the roof of the church. Also, some of the kids made a fort:

Oh, what forts we made when I was their age…
In spite of the snow, my friend Kenichi took me to the aquarium on Saturday:

Monday was a holiday, so there was no school. I took some time to wander around Osu, one of the most interesting and fun-to-wander-in areas of Nagoya:

There I saw such diverse sites as this…

And this:

And such diverse people as this…

And this:

That last shot is from one of at least three shops I saw that seem to specialize in cowboy gear. Yee haw… The rest of the week, I spent some time getting organized (I still had one box left to unpack until a couple of days ago, but no more!), dreaming and planning. And of course I studied, but probably not as much as I should have. And to cap it all off, today I did some major housecleaning, after having discovered a bit of a mold problem happening in my apartment. Good times.
And that’s a wrap for this week. Tune in next week for more photos, videos, and witty banter.
